“Why I Joined The United States Marine Corps.”

While all my friends were waiting for college acceptance letters, I was enlisting into the United States Marine Corps. While all my friends are going crazy about shopping for prom and shopping for their little graduation dresses, I’m busting my ass working out and preparing myself both mentally and physically for boot camp. I go to sleep sore, and wake up not being able to get out of bed.. but I still keep going. I ship out on November 5th, 2012. My friends will already be in their first semester of college, my brother will be entering his first year of High School, my sister will be growing up into a young lady, but I will be sweating and bleeding to become a United States Marine. And I’m proud to say that. When I want something, I strive for it and I always get it. So I’m not even worried, because I know for a fact that I will be a female Marine, without a doubt. I can’t wait to leave all the ignorance in The Bronx behind and finally move on with life. When I return for those 10 days from boot camp, everybody who’s ever doubted me will look at me and say “damn, she’s a bad bitch.” Because trust me, I’ll be a bad mother fucker. >=]

THIS Is Life.

My friend Mikey sent me this link to read last night, basically explaining someone’s theory about the after life.. pretty dope. Makes sense.
